Paisley’s Restaurant, Bowness on Windermere
Paisley’s restaurant at the Craig Manor Hotel is one of the finest restaurants in Bowness on Windermere and enjoys fantastic panaramic views of the surrounding area, including Lake Windermere.
The head chef prides himself on his interesting and imaginative cuisine, mixing the best of English and continental fayre, using where possible, local produce.
To compliment your meal, there is a comprehensive wine list which includes the best of classic and new world wines. Once you have enjoyed your food why not settle down in one of the comfortable lounges and enjoy a freshly ground coffee. For that extra special touch choose to enjoy a liquor coffee or a cognac.

Paisley’s Restaurant, at Craig Manor Hotel, takes its name from Sir Thomas Paisley, who was the original owner of the house in Bowness on Windermere. He was an Admiral in the Royal Navy, and chose this beautiful Lake District site in Bowness on Windermere to build his retirement home in 1848.
Sunday Lunch
Sunday lunch is a great British tradition and at Craig Manor hotel in Windermere we celebrate this tradition every Sunday. Choose from our carvery selection of Roast Beef, Lamb or Turkey served with all of the trimmings. Perfect if you are in Windermere for the day or arranging a special occasion.
