The following Terms and Conditions apply to all bookings made on this website. We kindly ask that you take a moment to read them prior to making a Booking.

Your Stay At Craig Manor Hotel

BOOKING RATES

BEST AVAILABLE FLEXIBLE RATE

Our Best Available Flexible Rate allows you to amend or cancel your booking up to 48 hours prior to arrival. Please note that we require a credit/ debit card to secure your booking. If you book within 48 hours arrival will require full pre-payment at the time of the booking.

ADVANCE PURCHASE RATE

Our Advanced Purchase rate benefits from a 10% discount which is available up until 7 days prior to arrival. Full pre-payment is required at time of booking. Payments are non-refundable. Reservations can be amended once up to 14 days prior to the arrival date. If the new date chosen is at a higher rate the difference will be due at the time of amendment.

EARLY BIRD RATE

Why not. book early and save? Book eight or more weeks in advance and benefit from a 20% discount! Full pre-payment is required at time of booking. Payments are non-refundable. Reservations can be amended once up to 14 days prior to the arrival date. If the new date chosen is at a higher rate the difference will be due at the time of amendment.

CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR RATES

When you book on our Christmas or New Year Rate we require full pre-payment at the time of booking. Payments are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Please note that for all pre-paid rates we require you to present the card used to make the reservation. 

AMENDMENTS & CANCELLATIONS

All reservations will be held to the terms as per the individual reservation. In the event of a late cancelation or non-arrival the full accommodation amount for the full stay will be chargeable. The cancelation policy applies from the date of arrival. We recommend taking out travel insurance for all pre-paid reservations.

VAT

All rates include VAT at the prevailing rates.

COVID-19 POLICY

At Craig Manor, our team members have been trained in enhanced cleaning routines following WHO COVID-19 guidelines. We are paying attention to high-touch areas, disinfecting them at regular intervals. Hand alcohol sanitising stations are available in lobbies and corridors. To ensure the safety of our staff and guests we have had to make some changes to the way the hotel operates and the services that we are able to offer. RESTAURANT

With envious views towards the Langdale Fells and Lake Windermere, you can expect to enjoy home-cooked, locally sourced dishes at Paisley’s. Dinner inclusive guests have an allocation of £27 per adult per night to spend on food. Any unused dinner allocation can’t be carried over to future nights. All drinks will be charged as taken. We advise booking your dinner time advance so as to get your preferred time slot.

CHILDREN

Children of all ages are welcome at Craig Manor. Our Family Manor Rooms are perfect for families, we can also add a travel cot to some bedrooms. Children aged 3 – 15 are charged at a rate of £20 per child per night including breakfast, when sharing with 2 full paying adults. There is no charge for children under 3 and the hotel can provide a travel cot if required. All children’s meals will be charged as taken.

DOGS

Well behaved dogs are welcomed in a limited number of our Manor Rooms. A maximum of 1 dog is allowed per room and there is a charge of £15 per night. To book a pet friendly room, please give our Bookings Team a call on 015394 88877.

ARRIVAL & DEPARTURE TIMES

Check in is from 3pm on the day of arrival. If you’re room is ready early we will of course check you in but unfortunately, we are not able to guarantee early check-in. We welcome you to enjoy our Bar or Restaurant prior to checking in. Check out time is by 11am on the day of departure. Subject to availability, late checkouts are charged at £20 per hour and must be pre-arranged with Reception.

PARKING

Complimentary onsite parking is available to all residents at the front and rear of the hotel.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

We ask that you please advise the hotel of any specific dietary needs, mobility issues, or other specific requirements at least 48 hours prior to arrival to your arrival.

SPECIAL REQUESTS

We understand that you may be visiting Craig Manor for a very special occasion whether that be a birthday, anniversary or celebration. Please let us know if we can assist you ahead of your arrival. The hotel will always make every effort to fulfil your specific special requests. Unfortunately, sometimes due to issues outside of our control, we are unable to guarantee specific room numbers.

PRIVACY POLICY

Here at Craig Manor, we place a huge importance on respecting and protecting your privacy. We are committed to respecting and protecting your privacy and any changes we may make to refresh the policy in the future will be published on this page. Any personal data you give to us for the purposes set out in this Policy will be processed in accordance with this Policy unless stated otherwise at the time of collection. COMPLAINTS POLICY

We want your stay with us to be a memorable one for all the right reasons. In the unlikely event that you have any issues during your stay, we ask that you bring this to the attention of the Hotel Manager as soon as possible so we are able to make every effort to fix any issue that occurs. We ask that any formal complaints are received in writing no later than 5 days after your departure date.

GUEST BEHAVIOUR

We respectfully ask that guests do not disrupt the comfort and enjoyment of other guests or cause offence to other guests or our staff. We reserve the right to refuse accommodation or services or remove you and members of your party from the hotel if we consider this provision to have been breached. Where this is the case, we shall have no obligation to refund you for lost accommodation, other services or any other loss or expense incurred. You will be held liable for any damage or loss caused by you or a member of your party. Damage caused by you or your party will be chargeable.

SMOKING POLICY

Smoking and vaping is not permitted in any area of the hotel, including out of any bedroom windows, apart from the designated external smoking areas. This includes the use of e-cigarettes. The use of candles or any naked flames is not permitted in any area of the hotel. the hotel reserved the right to charge a fee of up to £100 for any guest who is found to be in breach of this policy.
