If you want to get here by public transport you can get a connecting train from Oxenholme Station to Windermere and get a local bus connection to Bowness.
Windermere Lake Cruises also operate a ferry service to get you around the lake.

The World of Beatrix Potter sits right in the centre of Bowness-on-Windermere. The attraction doesn’t have its own parking but there is a pay & display car park nearby on Rayrigg Road as well as a number of others in the area. Alternatively, if you fancy a nearby country house hotel in the Lake District, Craig Manor Hotel is a pet-friendly hotel in Windermere, just 10 minutes walk from the attraction.
