Kendal Farmers Market | Friday 27th March 2015| 9.30am – 3.30pm

With a whole host of locally sourced and organic produce, Kendal Farmers Market is well worth a visit. Featuring the very best in locally reared meat (including our local Herdwick Lamb), cheeses, breads, cakes and much more, the market is the perfect opportunity to stock up on local ingredients before you return home or to pick up some treats for your loved ones!

Bowness Bay Blues | 27th March 2015 – 29th March 2015

2015 sees the return of the Bowness Bay Blues. Now in its fourth year, it’s set to be the best one yet – with exciting headline acts David Migden & The Twisted Roots performing their original material, The Laurence Jones Band, fronted by a young guitarist who has been called ‘the future of the Blues’ and Northsyde, a unique band with a grooving combination of rock, funk and a serious nod to the blues.

Peter Rabbit Egg Hunt | Wednesday 1st of April 2015 | 10am

Great fun for adults and the perfect day out for families, The Peter Rabbit Egg Hunt features 50 beautifully hand crafted eggs hidden all around the Lake District! Each one found wins you entry into The World of Beatrix Potter attraction plus ownership of the egg. Among these, 10 top prizes are hidden – including hotel stays, attraction entries and more. Clues for each egg are provided as well as an online map – which goes live at 10am. The £2 it costs to access the map goes straight to WaterAid, so not only is this a great day out for the family, but you’ll being doing your bit for charity too.
