At Craig Manor, we understand that your furry friend is part of the experience. That’s why we invite well-behaved dogs to join you in our cosy and relaxing bar and lounge. Whether you’re reading the papers with a coffee in the morning or unwinding with a refreshing drink after a day of exploration, you don’t have to worry about leaving your four-legged companion behind.
We do just ask for you to keep your dog on a lead while in the bar and lounge area.

We allow a maximum of one dog per room, with a rate of £15 per dog per night.

Claife Heights
A 6-mile route that takes you across Lake Windermere by ferry and into the serene woodland of Claife Heights. The breathtaking views of Windermere make this walk truly enchanting.
Millerground
This 2.8-mile walk along the lake provides great views and is suitable for all ages and abilities. It’s a wonderful option if you’re looking for a shorter and more leisurely stroll.

The Rules
Guidelines for Visiting with Dogs
To ensure a comfortable and relaxing stay for all our guests, please adhere to the following guidelines when bringing your dog:
Inform us at the time of booking if you will be accompanied by your dog.
Please avoid leaving dogs unattended in hotel bedrooms for extended periods.
Keep dogs on a lead at all times while on the hotel premises, including the reception area and grounds.
Dogs are not allowed in our restaurant, but they are welcome in our lounge and bar areas. We can provide recommendations for dog-friendly restaurants in the local area.
The dog owner is responsible for any charges incurred due to damages or additional cleaning requirements.
